- J.B. Williams' account (1828) of Katherine Matthews' long and difficult trial in overcoming her family's resistance to her marrying Philip Henry (1631-1696). Her family was of a wealthy estate, and she had many other well-to-do suitors. The Henry's second child was Matthew Henry, the well known Bible commentator.
